It took less than 24
hours for us to fill this mammoth dumpster!
But thanks to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for
providing it!
Friday saw 8 homeowners
participating in the Garage Sale.
There were 4 people at this particular house when I
dropped by.
Happy Birthday to Pat
Villas, our Special Events Coordinator.
She had to drag a few things into her garage during a
brief sprinkle
on Friday, but the weather was cooperative
otherwise.
The 2nd dumpster arrived
and is patiently waiting to be dumped on.
Here's our new Garage
Sale banner!!
Not quite sure of the placement because any cars
waiting on Hague seem to block it,
but thanks to John Fishman for putting it up for us
to get early birders!!
A new sign at 82nd
Street to help pull in garage salers.
The balloons kind of sagged with the day, but still
gave some more color.
About the same number of
houses participated on Saturday, but given the
weather...
We know the weather made
it more difficult for brave homeowners who had to
pull
everything into their garages because of the rain,
but word has it that lots
of traffic stopped to see what there was.
John Fishman (on steps
carrying trash barrel) and his wife, Vickie (Pool
Committee Chair, not pictured) worked on cleaning up
around the pool and cabana. J. Bobian Sr. raked and
trimmed up the entire common ground with his son,
James, Jr., a Shadow Ridge homeowner and the
gentleman who mows our common areas.
James Bobian works on
cleaning up and clearing out the Hague Road
entrance.
Board Member Libby
Stiles and 3rd grader Elizabeth at the Ice Cream
Social. Other members of Elizabeth's family also
wandered by for some tasty strawberries and vanilla
ice cream.
Shadow Ridgeans catch up
with each other in spite of overcast skies and a
slight chill.
Libby decked out in her
finest Strawberry Wear chats with Jean (?)
Hibner.
The Geese Family walks
across Salt Fork to socialize as well.

For some, the excitement
was overwhelming
Buzz off, brother...
you're bugging me.
Who'd have thunk we
could fill up TWO mammoth dumpsters! GREAT community
clean-up!
